Mermaids for Clean Water and special guest leader Jenna Jasso are so proud to present you with the first ever women's retreat to Big Bend National Park. This retreat is for deepening our relationship with nature and the waters within so that we can harmonize our energies with those of our planet and connect to our sister tribe.

Or maybe try on a mermaid tail and dive into a natural spring in the middle of the desert? Want to see the Marfa lights, or maybe you've never seen the stars from a hot spring surrounded by women you connect deeply with. Perhaps you would enjoy the sunrise from Santa Elena canyon right before your yoga practice, or the view from the top of the Chisos mountains.
This retreat includes entry to Balmorhea State Park & Big Bend National Park, camping for 3 nights (1 night in Marfa), 6 meals, hot springs, guided nature walks/hikes, environmental education, meditation, yoga, & sacred sister circles.

Jenna Jasso started off as a Mechanical Engineer, but her call to something higher inspired world travels and self exploration. She began her yogic path 9 yrs ago and started teaching for 4yrs ago. Jenna has been an active community organizer in Austin (organizing local festivals and events, such as "Om the Dome") with the intention of supporting personal growth and transformation and cultural evolution. She facilitates transformational experiences (meditations and ceremonies) which expand conscious awareness, awaken a sense of purpose, cultivate compassion, encourage connection, and empower individuals and groups to overcome the challenges of today.
Lindsay Loftin has been a wilderness survival guide in Texas for two years and has over 7 years of backcountry and interpretation experience. She has completed her Wilderness First Responder certification and an instructor level NOLS course in Alaska and has spent two nights solo camping in Big Bend last April. She is excited to share with you the flora and fauna of Big Bend and Balmorhea State Park and to let you try on a mermaid tail for yourself. Her passion and vision is to share with you the beauty and wonder that is West Texas and inspire you to bring that memory back home to share with others.
Mermaids for Clean Water is a non-profit founded last May by Lindsay Loftin to inspire children to create a clean water future through education in classrooms, creeks, and soon cinemas. They are on a mission to heal our disconnection with the natural world by bringing people outside and creating memorable, safe, life changing experiences in nature that conncect to our hearts. 1/2 of the profit from this trip will be donated directly to the education programs of Mermaids for Clean Water. Additional donations for those programs are accepted at the same Paypal address as registration.
